人と猫の距離が、とても近い国だった。

猫は街の風景に溶け込み、人々はその存在を特別視することなく受け入れている。ベンチで眠り、路地を歩き、カフェの椅子でくつろぐ姿は、この街の日常そのものだった。

穏やかな時間が流れる街では、猫も安心して暮らしている。そんな光景を眺めていると、「猫が落ち着いて暮らせる街は、人の心にもゆとりがあるのではないか。」そう感じずにはいられなかった。

In Türkiye, cats blend effortlessly into everyday life, and people, in turn, accept their presence as a natural part of the city. Everywhere you look, they move at their own pace, resting without fear and living quietly alongside the people around them.

Watching them, I could feel time moving more slowly.

Perhaps a city where cats can live in peace is also a city where people live with a greater sense of happiness.

With that thought in mind, I photographed the cats of Istanbul and Cappadocia.
